Walking Tall

Yes, booties are the “it” footwear for the fall, but who can go the entire season without a good pair of tall boots too? I may not be a “shoe” person, but when it comes to boots I can’t get enough! Although recently I’ve put myself on a super strict budget so I won’t be able to go crazy this time around. Luckily, I’ve invested in a few quality pairs over the years that will get me through this season. Even though I won’t be buying any boots anytime soon, a girl can still look!

From leather flats, to slouchy suede stilettos, there’s always a boot that will complement your style! Check out these that are all under $150!

Flabuless Arms!

Most of us have all heard of Spanx, but have you heard of “Flabuless?” Probably not, right? Well, “Flabuless” is the first-ever arm shapewear that claims to slim, conceal and re-shape. It was created by a fellow BG in an effort to help women who were frustrated by tops “not fitting right” as a result of sagging skin or flabby arms. Although I am rather content with the size of my arms, I know a few people who always complain about the appearance of theirs.

Whether worn to tone down tummies or reshape arms, shapewear can make women feel more confident and sexy, which is always good!

Would you ever try “Flabuless” shapewear? Do you know someone who would benefit from this innovative garment? One lucky winner will get a chance! Just leave a comment and a winner will be selected at random.

Now that fall is officially here and the cool breezes are a mainstay, it’s time to break out a cute leather jacket! Leather jackets instantly add a bit of rock and roll chic whether worn with jeans or over an ultra-feminine frock.

This cool weather wardrobe staple might be pricey (especially during these financially difficult days), but one of good quality will last you a lifetime. So, let out your inner bad girl Rihanna style with a luxe leather. Oh and for those Peta-friendly readers, I threw in a couple faux ones too!

Bags adorned with a chain handle or delicately draped chains add a ladylike twist to ordinary arm candy. Most of these styles are reminiscent of the timeless Chanel flap handbags.

Shopper’s Delight

When it comes to shopping, there are usually only a few stores I frequent. I am all about hunting for fabulous fashions that don’t cost a fortune. That’s why some of my favorite places to buy clothes are Daffy’s, Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, Century 21 and Filene’s Basement. These chain discount stores are the best for finding designer bargains for less, especially during these uncertain economic times. I’ve found some of the cutest dresses, shoes and handbags that would ordinarily be out of my budget, but got them at affordable prices at these stores. It’s funny because none of my friends or family enjoy going to any of these stores because they’re usually disorganized with too much merchandise to sift through, but for me that’s part of the thrill and allure. To me, visiting bargain basement stores are akin to going on a treasure hunt!

Oh and of course you guys know how much I love to shop online (Macys.com, Nordstrom.com and Shopstyle.com)!!
