Stylish Summer Scarves

Accessories play an integral part in helping us appear polished and pulled together. That’s why this season, fashionable BGs are reaching for summery scarves to create a cool and chic look. The key to wearing scarves in the summer is to opt for silks, chiffons and other lightweight fabrics that are airy and won’t absorb heat.

They are the perfect accessories for breezy, summer evenings. Whether loosely tied around the neck or used as headbands for a retro, laid-back look, scarves can be worn in a variety of ways. Plus, they can easily be incorporated into your fall wardrobe!

Sizable Wallets

My love for big purses creates a challenge when it comes to finding my wallet. I realize that if I have a huge bag, I probably need to have a good sized wallet that I can easily find and grab. Otherwise, it takes me a good 5 minutes to fish around my seemingly bottomless bag to find my wallet when I need it.

Cute Kicks

I’m back from Chicago and I missed you guys so much!! I’m completely exhausted, but BGG has returned with regular posts. Yesterday was the first day I didn’t post anything. I was too tired since my flight was delayed 2 hours. Anyway, back to business!

Being that I have never liked the look of sneakers, sometimes a girly girl like me has to break down and buy a pair in an effort to stay fit. I hadn’t owned a pair of sneakers since high school until a few weeks ago. I decided to purchase a pair so I could exercise properly since we all know that stiletto heels and chic ballet flats won’t get the job done.

So, as I embarked upon my quest for cute, non-clunky athletic shoes, I surprisingly noticed that there were quite a few that were actually wearable. Now I can finally try to stay fit and still look feminine at the same time!

This season the maxi dress is the perfect piece to add to your summer wardrobe. These fabulous, free-flowing frocks can create long & lean silhouettes, which I’m sure many BGs can appreciate. Who doesn’t want to look chic and elongated?

Short-Stop

You may think your legs are too thin or too big to wear shorts, but the truth is that there is a pair out there that will work perfectly for your body type. I wasn’t always a fan of shorts, but that all changed last year when I tried on a pair that surprisingly flattered my figure.

This summer shorts can be worn night or day, casual or dressy. They can be paired with sneakers, sandals, wedges or even pumps (if done properly). Also, you don’t have to have legs like Tina Turner to successfully pull off this summer staple, but you do need confidence!
