Today is the day we’ve all been waiting for! Yes, today we will cast our votes to elect the the 44th president of the United States of America (if you haven’t already)!! This has been the most exciting election that many of us have ever witnessed. From the down-and-dirty debates to the satirical Saturday Night Live sketches, this presidential race has been one for the history books!
Oh how I wish I was in my hometown of Chicago to attend the Obama rally at Grant Park. Oh well, I’ll be cheering him on from NYC!!
Will you be attending an election party tonight? What has this election meant to you?

I plan on getting out for a election party somewhere in L.A. I got invites to several hotel and Civil Service election parties. I need to do something while they count the numbers since I put myself on a tv and election hiatus for a week prior til today.
Get out and vote everyone!
smooches from Latia
I will be at the Obama Headquarters in Newark, volunteering. This election is very important and historic to me, and I’m glad to be apart of it.
I thought about heading to an election party here in Orlando but I am on pins and needles right now and don’t feel like being around a ton of people. But WHEN he wins….I’ll be doin’ the Cupid Shuffle at somebody’s party. LOL! Happy Tuesday, BGG!
I’m just back from voting. I’ll be stopping a a neighbors house for drinks and appetizers but mostly watching the tv and holding my breath. This election has meant the world to me thinking of my children’s future.
I’m so nervous! I voted this morning, can’t wait till tonight… I’ll be having my own little celebration!
When I saw the long line at the polling station this morning, I felt so good. People TURNED OUT.
I’m so excited! My friends and I are deciding between two parties in the city. Maybe we’ll do both.
I just dancing with myself waiting for the new year to come!
To the best!!!
I’m running to the polls after work and then I’ll be glued to the TV to see the results!
This election means so much to me and my son’s future. It’s a true indication of how far we can go. I’m looking forward to Obama winning! Unfortunately, due to my job, I will not be able to attend any PUBLIC election parties. I’ll just have to quietly celebrate for the next 4 years! GO OBAMA!
i think i was the first one done voting from the office today…prob go to some bars after work. cant go home and watch tv.
Oh I could write a book on what it means to me, so I’ll answer the other question. I’ll be at the grant park rally. Yep, I’m one of the blessed 61,000 who will be a part of history tonight.
Look for me. LOL!!!
Obama 08, Yes We Can, Yes We Will and tomorrow I’ll be saying Yes We Did!!!
I’m so HYPED!!!
I just got back from voting!! Well, actually about an hour ago. It only took me one hour and 20 mins!! That was the first time I didn’t mind waiting in line. What a great day today is going to be. I can just feel it!!! This election means so much for our future!!! I am like a kid on the night before Christmas; I can hardly wait until the last votes are counted!!! YAY!!! 🙂
To me, this election has meant me actually being alive to witness something that may very well be in the history books that my kids and grandkids read. Me knowing that one day I will be telling the stories that my grandparents tell us…. and I love that feeling… actually feeling that my generation actually contributed something positive to the history of America…
and yes… I will be somewhere partying like its 1999 tonight!
i’ll prolly party right here in my crib.
Oh I forgot to say that I was invited to a party, but because I’ve been suffering from a terrible cold, not sure if I should be around a bunch of people. Although I really want to go, I’m not sure if my body wants me to. 🙁
i just don’t have any words…this is so exciting!
i voted on Friday, i’ll be glued to the tube tonight!
just got back from voting…no party tonight
I don’t think I could stand being around a bunch of people right now. I am too excited/nervous/anxious to “party”. Tomorrow, I am going to an event to celebrate President Obama’s win.
Change is coming.
Change is here!!!
