I’m having Blogger issues when it comes to uploading photos. Therefore, I won’t be able to upload photos today, but I am working on resolving this issue.
In the meantime, I’d love to hear your opinions on whether or not you’d like to read about fellow BGs who are intelligent, creative, fashion/beauty savvy, giving back to their communities, etc.? I’d like to create an ongoing column/post that will highlight readers who exemplify these characteristics and would like to be featured on Brown Girl Gumbo.

Sorry that I won’t get my fabulous photos BUT so happy about your new idea! I LOVE it. I’m always happy to hear about my fellow BGs doing something wonderful in their lives and in our communities! It just might drive me to do something myself…maybe! Bring it on!
Sounds like a great idea! It’d be nice to learn about what other women are up to. I find it something that could possibly uplift us all and bring about inspiration.

Would love to hear about others. It is great to see people who are making it happen and helping others do the same. I love to read about positive people. We are so bombarded with disillusion (although it makes good tv) but it is good to see real women, a realistic reality, and positive influences. Bring it!!
