I recently read an article online that said spending time with our gal pals is as important to our health as heading to the gym. It’s a known fact that we women connect with each other differently than men and the support of our girlfriends help us deal with stress and life experiences, but who knew that cultivating those relationships with our girls could actually lower blood pressure, heart rate and even cholesterol!?
So the next time you think about rescheduling girl time, think again – your heart will thank you for it.
Me with one of my BFFs Azeeza (I only take pics when I’m with her!!) Even though she lives in Chicago, we still stay in touch. I do need to find more NY friends. LOL!
When was the last time you hung out with your friends? Do you have one or two BFFs or do you have a group of friends that all hang out together?
My BFF & I are in touch constantly. We talk on the phone, video conference, text and email. She’s more like my sister. We don’t get to hang out as much as we’d like to but we do plan for girls’ weekends.
i have two bffs, a girl and a guy. my REAL bffs are my sister and my two nieces.
no best friends but i have a group of friends
I have one friend that i consider a bestie! I met her when I moved to Chicago and she has been a better friend to me than the one’s I’ve had for 10+ years!
My true BFFs are my husband, mom, sisters and cousin. I can tell them anything and they ALWAYS support me.
I completely agree. I always know I’m in for a good time with my girls. I have about 3 sets of friends that I hang out with regularly. For each of them, I know I can count on for different things so I guess you could say eveyone is a best friend in their own ways.
I have two bffs AND I have a whole HEAP of girlfriends. I’m truly blessed with the gift of friendship. My girls and I hang often (or as often as schedules and flights allow).
I really cherish and value that time.
BARBARA LOVES THIS POST! :):):) Your BFF is gorgeous! And so are you 🙂
