Splash of Scents!

There’s nothing more invigorating than squirting on a bit of body splash after a nice shower during the warmer months. For me, spraying on my favorite body splash is the perfect alternative to perfume because it gives me a hint of scent without being too overwhelming. Plus, it just makes me feel so refreshed and clean!

Romper Room

The summer version of the much talked about jumpsuit – the romper is back for yet another season. Rompers have been donned down fashion runways in recent years and it doesn’t look like designers are halting the production of these child-like, one-piece get-ups any time soon. Although they look relaxed and comfy, the question still remains…would you actually wear one?

Please share your thoughts!

First Lady of Fashion!

When it comes to our First Lady’s priorities, fashion is probably not at the top of her list. Although for us fashionistas and women who admire style and grace, Mrs. Michelle Obama is definitely at the top of ours. The regal beauty’s fashion sense is being praised in the new book, “Michelle Style: Celebrating the First Lady of Fashion,” by Mandi Norwood.

Chock full of photographs and impeccable illustrations, the book includes quotes from famous designers and industry insiders who admire our newest White House style icon. “Michelle Style,” is a cute book that also provides tips on the best sites to surf for bargain buys, as well as tips on how to dress for your body type.

Are you a fan of our First Lady’s style?

Stimulate Your Scalp!

When it comes to taking care of our tresses moisturizing is key. I’ve been using SoftSheen Carson’s Roots of Nature Stimulating Scalp Oil for the past couple of weeks and have been impressed with the results. The convenient nozzle allows me to part my strands while easily dispensing the semi-fragrant oil, which is enriched with shea butter and green tea to help prevent breakage.

Since I have a super dry scalp, it’s imperative that I use products like this scalp oil that soothe and moisturize without creating that unwanted stringy, greasy look that so many other products create.

Splish-Splash in Style!

This summer take a dip in cool waters with chic suits that will definitely make a splash! Whether you like to go for teeny tiny bikinis or modest one-pieces, this season there’s a swimuit that will suit your needs.

If you’d like to create the appearance of an ample bust, try a suit with ruffles across the chest. To tame tummies, one pieces in solid colors will work best. To slim thighs, go for bottoms that tie at the hip. Whatever your shape, the key to looking fabulous is to exude onfidence. Just be sure to use sunscreen!

Smudge-Proof Your Pucker!

Tired of your favorite glosses and lipsticks always leaving your lips? If so, perhaps lip stains are the answer to your beauty prayers! Unlike glosses and lipsticks, stains are virtually weightless, meaning you can’t feel anything on your pretty pout. Plus, they’re highly pigmented giving your pucker the right amount of color that’s usually long-lasting and won’t smear or smudge.

Are you a fan of lip stains? Would you try one?
